Gulf Coast Racing Series is the only Road Race Series in the country to
utilize the "bracket method" of placing cars to race in wheel to wheel
competition. The safety requirements are as stringent as any series in
the country and emphasize the spirit of club racing. Famous racing
marks such as Porsche, BMW, Alpha Romeo and Ferrari race against
Nissans, Toyotas, Chevrolets and more. The series runs from September
through the season finale, in March. Race weekend entry fees are as low
as $225 (at clubregistration.net) and include a practice day on
Saturday and a full day of racing action on Sunday.
PRIMARY RACE SERIES
The Gulf Coast Racing Series runs from September through March at Circuit Grand Bayou. The series runs monthly throughout the Fall, Winter and Spring with a 7-race program which includes a lapping/practice day the day before the race. There are trophies for Class placement and a series long points program with class Champions crowned at series end.
SUMMER RACE SERIES
During the Summer months the Gulf Coast Racing Series adds some excitement to a lapping day by hosting our Summer Series. We added a qualifying session and 30 minute all inclusive race to the end of our monthly lapping days during the Summer months. Now you can spend one day at the track and get in a month's worth of lapping and racing.
GENERAL INFO
The track opens at 7:30 am and on-track activities begin at 9:00. The series is open to all makes and models that have a full competition race set up including cage, fire suppression and safety net.
